Job Title: Seeking Cartoonist For Comic Book Illustration
Company: Location: Portland, OR
Description:
I'm looking for a talented cartoonist to illustrate the pilot issue of an epic Western comic book series. I've got the entire series plotted and a first issue script at the ready. Now it needs an artist. Style-wise, I'm looking for something along the lines of Tin-Tin or Walt Disney. Clean, simple, expressive, iconic art. Cartoon but not caricature.
You'll be paid a negotiable four-figure amount for your work, and after that, I'll be shopping the finished product around, trying to find a publisher/distributor. I want this to be a major release. If all goes well, you'll be looking at a four-year collaboration with 50/50 ownership of the title, and if the series turns out anything like it is in my head, some definite acclaim and recognition.
Please send samples of your work. It doesn't have to be in a Western setting but it won't hurt.
