We are looking for individuals with a great attitude and a love of paint and design products. This position will be responsible for helping customers in our store as well as in their homes. This position will help customers pick colors, order blinds and window treatments, wallcoverings as well as helping store personnel with tinting and mixing of paint and sales of related paint sundries. Location: Portland, OR Description: As our Color Designer I - Womens Training, youll develop innovative color design options for a Nike footwear line and partner with category cross-functional groups to create premium products and collections from concept to retail presentation. Youll determine the category-specific direction of color and lead color blockingstrategies and stories on a seasonal basis. Youll also research and deliver color, design, market and lifestyle trends that impact the product category process from product briefing to sales samples; collaborate with our Materials Designer and Design, Product Marketing and Development teams to focus color solutions for market success; and finalize product details, including the color execution for each product. In addition, youll review all samples to achieve marketable solutions and maintain color calendar timelines and deadlines in order to ensure the timely completion of each product.
