The proper candidates will need to have at least 8+ years of experience in Healthcare interior design work. Strong design experience, excellent client leadership, and marketing presentation skills are necessary. This person must also be able to lead design teams and have previous experience with local markets. All candidates must possess excellent conceptual skills and the ability to render and draft using AutoCAD 2005, and knowledge of the design process and construction documents.

Effective communication with various channels related to the development of product (Overseas Factories, Sourcing Agents, Domestic Suppliers, Free-Lance Designers). Daily execution of proprietary projects and company directives outlined by Director of Product Development. Assist in selecting, revising and developing products for customer line review.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the process of producing, tracking and testing new developments for key in-house accounts (Example - copy and inspect blue prints for non descriptive areas, send blueprints to factory contacts along with finish swatches and specified details, track sample progress and request quotes making sure that all sample deadlines are met, fill out required product development spreadsheets for sourcing departments.)
Assist in the process of factoring what trends should be translated into our corporate structure based on account bases.
Search for product ideas based on in-house directives and/or customer directives:
Assist in coordinating with our vendors for sketches and or blueprints for expansion of key groupings.
Accumulate tear sheets and internet images for team review from industry publications and catalogs based on corporate direction:
Develop ideas for showroom display
Work on budget with VP of Sales/Marketing to be presented for approval to President
Work with team to set up showroom for particular customer in-house visits.
Maintain spreadsheets by account for status of all projects in regard to samples, deadlines, test results, production deliveries, all product development overseas notes for J Hunt and Jimco product development sheets, follow up and tracking.
Fulfill marketing support roles for any areas needed, specification sheets, cost sheets, sample shipments, package test/quality test results, deadline verifications, etc.
