BWC's core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC's seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Produce computer generated learning applications, tutorials, graphic designs and visual communication services for BWC Performance Support and Training Department.
  • Creates and maintains intranet web pages for training, performance support, marketing of training programs, and other purposes.
  • Create visual solutions for assignment using scientific methods in a creative setting.
  • Consult on and analyze BWC intranet websites with customers to design web pages for training, performance support and other purposes.
  • Creates support graphics for the Performance Support & Training Department intranet website and training software programs using available tools (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint, Articulate, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In Design, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, SnagIt).
  • Makes recommendations to customers regarding policies and procedures for visual design, hardware and/or software, media materials and/or printing methodologies for training and performance support.
  • Works with Information Technology Division to post items on servers for testing and final publication.

To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:

36 months training or 36 months experience in electronic graphic design AND 12 months experience with hyper-text markup language for website/web page design &/or development.

  • Or completion of associate core program in graphic visual communication technology or multimedia production technology AND 36 months training or 36 months experience in website/web page creation, design &/or development.
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in visual communications with emphasis on graphic design/industrial design &/or fine arts AND 24 months training or 24 months experience in website/web page creation, design &./or development.
  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
