Responsible for the accurate visual and dimensional documentation of textiles through photography and 3D scanning. Ensures consistency in color, texture, and scale across all digital assets while supporting internal imaging standards and workflows. Works closely with Media, Product Development, and Marketing teams to maintain a high level of visual fidelity and alignment with brand presentation goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Capture high-resolution textile photography under controlled studio lighting to ensure accurate representation of material color, texture, and structure.
Operate and maintain flatbed, overhead, and camera-based systems for still image capture.
Conduct 3D scanning of textiles and soft materials using structured light or photogrammetry systems.
Perform precise color correction and calibration of photographic files to match approved reference standards and physical samples.
Maintain color-managed workflows and equipment, including ICC profiling, display calibration, and light consistency.
Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, digital presentation, marketing assets, and sample documentation.
Assist in developing standards and protocols for digital asset creation, including 3D scans, still photography, and texture maps.
Organize, tag, and archive files in accordance with internal asset management systems and naming conventions.
Support studio maintenance and assist in sourcing or testing new imaging technologies and techniques.
Ensure production deadlines and quality expectations are consistently met.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Director, Media Imaging
Internal and External Contacts
Frequent collaboration with Media, Product Development, and Marketing.
Regular interaction with external vendors and technical consultants.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong technical photography skills with an emphasis on color accuracy and material rendering
Expert knowledge of color theory, calibration, and controlled lighting environments
Proficiency in Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, and other RAW processing tools
Experience with 3D scanning and modeling software
Familiarity with textile structure, surface detail, and material behavior under light
Highly organized with excellent file management and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Knowledge of ICC profiles, spectrophotometry, and color measurement tools
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Photography, Imaging, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in studio photography or imaging production, ideally with textiles, fashion, or interiors
Experience working within brand or product environments with high standards for visual consistency
