Description:SUU's School of Aviation is seeking a creative and motivated Student Videographer to join our Marketing Team. This role focuses on producing engaging video and photo content used across digital platforms to showcase SUU Aviation and inspire prospective students. The visibility of your work will be high, offering valuable real-world marketing experience and strong portfolio material.Responsibilities
Produce weekly video and photo content as assignedAssist with planning and scheduling photo and video shootsCapture, edit, and export video and photos for marketing useMeet project deadlines and manage multiple assignmentsSupport special marketing projects as neededAttend aviation events to capture media, which may be outside of regular work hoursRepresent SUU and the Aviation Department in a professional and positive mannerBring creativity, initiative, and a collaborative attitude to the teamOther duties as assigned
Work ScheduleMinimum 15 hours per week, Maximum 20 hours per weekQualifications:Required Qualifications
Current SUU studentMust own DSLR camera and related accessoriesAccess to Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software)Reliable, punctual, and honestWillingness to learn and take creative directionPersonable with a self-starter mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Current Aviation StudentStrong interest in videography and photographyCoursework or experience in videography, marketing, media, or related fieldsExperience with Adobe video and photo editing softwareDemonstrated self-taught or proactive learningAbility to prioritize tasks and manage deadlinesAviation student or general knowledge of aviationFamiliarity with digital media and print marketing materialsStrong desire to grow creatively and professionally
