- Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
- Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
- Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
- Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
- Maintain Marketing collateral for FASTSIGNS of Pembroke Pines
- Experience operating large-format printers and plotters (Mimaki Printers preferred)
- Experience with vinyl cutters, laminators, and mounting equipment (Mimaki Plotter Cutting preferred)
- Experience utilizing RasterLink (or Onyx) Software
- Ability to prepare, set up, and output files for print and cut production
- Understanding of materials used in sign production (vinyl, banner, rigid substrates, etc.)
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic production and output issues
- Willingness to learn and operate additional equipment as needed
- 2-4 years of graphic design experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator,
- Experience utilizing AI Graphic Design tools
- Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
- Determine the best output method based on the customers needs
- Strong communication skills; able to engage customers by phone, email, in person, and onsite
- Outgoing, customer-focused, and able to build long-term client relationships
- Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage quotes, work orders, and project timelines accurately
- Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning order management systems (e.g., CoreBridge)
- Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Comfortable sitting at a computer and viewing a screen for extended periods (4+ hours)
- Enthusiastic team player, proactive in supporting business growth and daily operations
