We are looking for a Tech Artist (Unity) to join Project BX and help deliver high quality, performant visuals across mobile and WebGL.

This role sits at the intersection of Art and Engineering. You will own the pipeline from content creation to runtime, ensuring that 2D and 3D assets are integrated efficiently, look great in game, and perform reliably on target platforms. You will work closely with artists, engineers, and product stakeholders to build scalable workflows, improve tooling, and raise the overall quality bar of the project.

What you will do:

  • Own and improve the PSD-to-Unity workflow, including import standards, metadata-driven prefab setup, and reimport stability
  • Drive 3D asset integration in Unity, ensuring consistency and quality across models, materials, prefabs, and scene setup
  • Build, maintain, and optimize runtime visuals, including URP shaders, materials, and UI effects
  • Support and evolve the UI component library to enable scalable and reusable UI production
  • Optimize memory, compression, build size, and frame rate, using profiling data to guide decisions
  • Improve asset loading and reference workflows, including Addressables and runtime asset lifecycle handling
  • Create tools and automation to speed up iteration, reduce manual work, and improve pipeline reliability
  • Collaborate closely with artists, engineers, and product teams to balance visual quality, technical constraints, and delivery priorities

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of experience in Technical Art / Tech Art with Unity, ideally in game production
  • Strong hands on experience with Unity and C# in production environments
  • Solid experience with both 2D (PSD-based) and 3D asset pipelines
  • Strong understanding of URP, rendering, ShaderLab, HLSL or CG, and shader debugging
  • Practical experience with profiling and performance optimization
  • Strong knowledge of texture formats, compression, memory constraints, and build-size trade-offs
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

  • Experience building or maintaining automated PSD import pipelines
  • Experience with metadata-driven UI workflows
  • Experience shipping mobile or WebGL products under tight performance constraints
