Our visualizations are used in mediation, arbitration, and trial settings where accuracy, technical rigor, and visual credibility are essential.
We are seeking a production-proven 3D Medical Animator who can operate within a structured workflow and contribute immediately in a deadline-driven environment.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on production role focused on designing and executing high-precision surgical, accident, and mechanism of injury animations. The position requires both creative execution and technical discipline.
You will translate medical imaging and surgical documentation into accurate, visually clear animations that meet strict internal quality standards.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex medical subject matter.
Core Responsibilities
- Review and interpret project requirements, medical records, and imaging data
- Conceptualize and develop surgical scenes, environments, instruments, and anatomical elements
- Create and refine storyboards that logically represent surgical procedures step by step
- Produce high-quality animations using Blender and internal systems
- Utilize existing rigs and proprietary workflows while maintaining strict production standards
- Research surgical procedures independently when necessary
- Collaborate with medical professionals and internal production staff to ensure anatomical and procedural accuracy
- Edit and finalize animation sequences for delivery
- Manage multiple projects under structured timelines
Required Qualifications
- 3-4+ years of professional animation experience
- Advanced proficiency in Blender or equivalent 3D software
- Strong foundation in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and effects
- Demonstrated ability to ship completed animation projects in a professional environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain high productivity
- Comfortable reviewing surgical footage and medical imagery
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Medical visualization or surgical animation experience
- Experience working with segmentation or medical imaging data
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems
- Background in animation, visualization, or related field (degree preferred but not required)
