Interior Designer Charlotte, NC Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Interior Designer to join a dynamic and collaborative design team. This role focuses on creating innovative and functional environments across sectors such as senior living, healthcare, education, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of creativity, technical expertise, and project leadership experience. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Design Leadership Present design concepts confidently to clients and lead collaborative decision-making Develop creative and functional design solutions tailored to client needs Project Management Manage interior design projects through the full lifecycle Ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and project goals Collaborate with project managers to track design budgets Technical Execution Produce schematic designs, construction drawings, and specifications Oversee construction administration, including FF&E selection, procurement, and installation Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design delivery Collaboration & Communication Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients Maintain strong organization and multitasking across multiple projects Business Development Support Participate in client presentations, proposals, and marketing efforts Qualifications NCIDQ Certification required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design (accredited program) 8+ years of professional experience in interior design Experience in senior living, healthcare, commercial, institutional, or multifamily projects preferred Renovation experience is a plus Technical Skills Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, and/or AutoCAD (required) Experience with Newforma, Enscape, or Lumion (preferred) Additional Requirements Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Willingness to travel as needed (local and occasional national travel) What's Offered Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to work on meaningful, impactful projects Collaborative and growth-focused work environment
