POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design compelling and accessible visual content that supports Albert Einstein College of Medicine
- Create print and digital products and materials as directed by Director of Creative Services and Project Manager, including but not limited to: brochures, postcards, invitations, reports, digital signage, social media assets, infographics, presentations, proposals, and posters.
- Execute art direction as provided by Director and Lead Graphic Designers
- Iterate designs based on feedback from clients and colleagues
- Ensure materials reflect appropriate brand identity
- Act as responsible party for assigned jobs, ensuring timely delivery of final product
- Manage multiple time-sensitive assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production requirements
- Professionally and collegially work and communicate with clients and colleagues
- Prepare final files for both digital and print production
- Coordinate effectively with print vendors to execute final deliverables
- Accurately and effectively track time in timekeeping system
- Exhibit strong customer service mentality
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field with at least 2 years experience as a graphic designer with print and digital design experience;
- Appropriate combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
- Strong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and awareness of current trends in graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to work on Mac platform
- Familiarity with Canva and Dropbox
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Highly collaborative and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
