Assistant Art Director

NOW HIRING Assistant Art Director (Reality TV)

Seeking a highly organized and hands-on Assistant Art Director for a fast-paced reality television production. This role will work closely with the Art Director and Leadman and will assist in executing the overall creative vision across builds, installs, graphics, and on-set needs.

This is a hybrid role for someone comfortable jumping between creative coordination and physical execution.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with day-to-day art department execution

Photoshop image resizing and canvas extension/stretching

Preparing and formatting artwork for print

Framing and building wall art installations

Mat board cutting and assembly

Assisting with light scenic and basic carpentry tasks

Coordinating with vendors, rentals, and production departments

Organizing and maintaining art documentation

Supporting set installs, flips, and strike as needed

Working closely with Leadman on logistics and execution

Ideal candidates should have:

Strong coordination and communication skills

Working knowledge of Photoshop

Basic carpentry/build experience

Experience in fast-paced production environments

Ability to problem solve quickly and adapt on the fly

Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

Restaurant or hospitality experience is a major plus we value candidates who thrive under pressure and can multitask efficiently in high-energy environments.

Based on 5 day weeks for prep and wrap - 6 for shoot weeks.

Reality TV experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
