Lead Apparel Color Designer Jordan Sport (FBAT + Golf)

Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid onsite with Fridays remote)
Duration: Contract (approx. 6 months)

About the Role

Were looking for a Lead Apparel Color Designer to help shape the future of sport apparel within an iconic global brand. This role is a unique opportunity to define the color identity and visual direction across Football, Training, and Golf apparel.

Youll bring a strong point of view on color, culture, and storytelling, combining creative vision with deep consumer insight to create innovative and impactful product.

What Youll Do
  • Lead the creation of seasonal color palettes and narratives across sport apparel categories
  • Translate consumer insights, cultural trends, and brand direction into compelling color strategies
  • Apply expertise in color theory, placement, and compatibility to elevate product design
  • Collaborate closely with product design, graphic design, materials, and merchandising teams
  • Develop and present color concepts and direction to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure color execution aligns with both creative vision and technical performance requirements
  • Contribute to the overall look and feel of sport apparel collections
Who Youll Work With

Youll partner with a diverse group of designers, product managers, and technical experts to bring innovative apparel to life. This role reports into design leadership and plays a key role in shaping seasonal product direction.

What Were Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in apparel color design
  • Strong understanding of consumer culture, color trends, and storytelling
  • Expertise in color theory, color mixing, and color placement
  • Experience working within technical or performance apparel
  • Ability to translate insights into innovative product solutions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • A passion for design and a willingness to push creative boundaries
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working across sport categories such as football, training, or golf
  • Background in both performance and lifestyle apparel
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
