Production Artist

Location : El Segundo CA The Production Artist is responsible for creating and preparing high-quality print and digital production files that meet brand, editorial, and design standards. The role focuses on file setup, image retouching, typography, layout production, and preparing printer-ready artwork while supporting designers in a fast-paced creative environment. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and release production-ready files for print and digital media Perform high-resolution image manipulation, photo retouching, and color correction Set up complex multi-page production files and organize artwork layers efficiently Collaborate with designers to execute layouts according to project specifications Ensure files are optimized and printer-friendly for production output Maintain consistency with brand, editorial, and design standards Handle multiple projects and production files simultaneously Support typography and layout adjustments for small-format print materials Improve workflow efficiency in file setup and production processes Review files for quality, accuracy, and production compliance Work independently while taking creative direction from design teams Manage deadlines and quickly switch between tasks as project priorities change Skills: Adobe Creative Suite expertise (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Strong Adobe Illustrator skills File preparation and print production knowledge Image editing, photo retouching, and color correction skills Typography and page layout experience Experience creating printer-ready production files Knowledge of digital and print production workflows Education/Experience: Associates..
