Job Description:

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong motion expertise to craft thoughtful, engaging, and polished product experiences. This role sits at the intersection of product design and motion design, blending strategic thinking with high quality interaction and animation work. You will help shape product strategy, design end to end user experiences, and bring them to life through purposeful motion that enhances clarity, usability, and delight.

This position is ideal for someone who thinks holistically about product experiences while also obsessing over the details that make interactions feel intuitive, fluid, and expressive.

What You'll Do

Motion & Interaction Design

Design motion systems and interaction patterns that enhance usability and guide user behavior

Create micro interactions, transitions, and animated states that communicate purpose and feedback

Develop motion prototypes to help teams visualize, explore, and refine product behavior

Collaborate with engineering to implement motion accurately, efficiently, and accessibly

Establish scalable motion principles and guidelines across the product ecosystem

Produce demos and storytelling artifacts that convey product vision and design intent

Product Design

Lead and contribute to product strategy and experience design across key initiatives

Design end to end user journeysfrom discovery and concept through launch and iteration

Translate product insights and user needs into clear, meaningful design solutions

Create wireframes, interaction models, prototypes, and high fidelity designs

Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers throughout the design lifecycle

Contribute to and evolve design systems, including motion and interaction standards

Daily Responsibilities / Key Tasks

Lead product design and motion design efforts across major features

Collaborate cross functionally across product, engineering, and research

Build and refine interactive prototypes for complex workflows

Partner with engineering to ensure motion behaviors are implemented with fidelity

Produce demos, prototypes, and visual artifacts that communicate product storytelling

Define and scale motion patterns, guidelines, and interaction principles

Design micro interactions, feedback states, and system level motion behaviors

Maintain consistency across design and motion within the design system

Essential Hard Requirements

Advanced proficiency in design, motion, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, After Effects, or similar)

Demonstrated ability to design end to end product experiences, not just visual UI or marketing animations

Strong understanding of interaction design, animation principles, and usability best practices

Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams to ship motion rich product experiences

Experience contributing to scalable design systems

Preferred Qualifications

Hybrid product + motion designer with experience applied to complex digital products

Demonstrated ability to blend product strategy with detailed interaction craftsmanship

Experience designing for systems that scale across multiple products or platforms

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Design, Interaction Design, Motion Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field

Equivalent professional experience may be considered
