Lead Advertising and Creative Services Manager

Job Description:
Job Summary
  • Drive diverse current customer creative campaigns supporting client products.
  • Apply strategic creative direction, agency collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Develop and execute innovative campaigns to increase customer loyalty, reduce churn, and drive revenue.
  • Manage external agency partners across creative strategy, development, and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-brand, on-budget, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Point of Contact (POC):
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
    • Foster strong cross-functional relationships.
    • Align creative strategy with business objectives and KPIs.
    • Ensure clear communication, accountability, and realistic expectations.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Analyze briefs and determine creative tactic requirements.
    • Ensure agency adherence to briefs and expectations.
    • Create, manage, and approve project schedules.
    • Review and approve creative designs and messaging.
    • Present creative options and lead reviews with senior leadership.
    • Consolidate and communicate feedback to agencies.
    • Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Oversee final delivery within budget and specifications.
  • Documentation & Tracking:
    • Archive campaigns and track historical data.
    • Monitor rights expirations and renewals.
    • Document and communicate post-campaign learnings.
  • Budget & Process Management:
    • Manage individual project budgets established by SOWs.
    • Proactively resolve campaign issues.
    • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in advertising, creative services, or marketing project management.
  • Proven experience managing external creative agencies from concept to delivery.
  • Experience presenting creative work and strategies to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in customer retention marketing (loyalty, churn reduction, revenue-driving campaigns).

Education
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.

Skills
  • Strong understanding of creative processes, strategies, and file formats across multiple channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and documentation.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to independently resolve project challenges.
  • Team player with ability to support colleagues.

Systems Knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheets for project tracking.
  • Familiarity with Figma for creative review and design collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Acquia and SharePoint for creative asset management.
