INTERMEDIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER

We're looking for an experienced interior designer with high-end residential experience to join our team. This person will be working directly with a project manager on multiple high-end residential projects in all phases of design, from conception through final installation and photoshoots. Expected salary range for this position is $80 - $90K.

This role requires a highly organized, self-starter who can effectively manage their time to work on multiple projects simultaneously and take the lead on tasks and maintain client and vendor relationships. This candidate should be able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and highly dynamic studio environment and have a strong desire to grow in their role. This position is a very exciting opportunity to work with wonderful clients and a highly collaborative team.

This position is a full-time, salaried position. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9-6pm with a minimum of 3 full days in person in our Brooklyn office. Availability to start immediately is a plus.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

Drafting technical drawings, including floor plans, renders, and custom furniture drawings

Sourcing any and all FF&E

Assisting in preparation of (and at times leading) client presentations

Communicating with vendors and workrooms alike

Surveying existing sites and producing coordinating drawings

Contributing to overall design concepts

Executing Studio Designer POs, invoices, proposals etc.

Maintaining project schedule tracking with vendors and storage facilities

Assisting with installations and styling

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an interior design role, ideally specializing in high-end residential projects

Preferred: Experienced a complete ground-up, interior design project cycle

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or interior architecture

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and thorough proficiency in G Suite (Google Docs/Sheets/Slides) and Microsoft Excel

Strong experience with the construction renovation process, is able to create custom furniture drawings, and holds knowledge of the NYC market including vendors, custom fabricators, etc.

Experience and comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced studio environment

Refined eye for color and strong understanding of material selections

Knowledge of Studio Designer (preferable but not required)

Ability to travel nearby and outside of NYC for jobsite visits and project installations. Must have a valid US driver's license, car ownership is a plus

Currently lives within commuting distance of office in Williamsburg, New York City.
