Digital Pattern Designer
Location: 22930 Lockness Ave, Unit A, Torrance, CA 90501

The Designer at Couverture plays a key role in our production process, ensuring that every cover we produce is tailored to meet the precise needs of our customers. The Designer will combine technical skills, creativity, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities

Order Review & Analysis
Review incoming orders from the Sales team to confirm all necessary measurements and specifications are provided.
Reach out to customers directly to gather any missing details or clarify unclear information.
Ensure the selected security system (e.g., straps, buckles) is appropriate for the specific furniture piece.
Conduct online research to identify furniture pieces, manufacturers, and collections when not clearly specified in the order.
Handle warranty claims and resolve customer issues related to fit, security systems, or other concerns. Communicate with customers to understand the problem, collaborate with the design team to identify the cause, and develop a solution to ensure satisfaction
Pattern Creation
Use TukaTech software to design accurate, custom patterns for outdoor furniture covers.
Ensure patterns are optimized for both quality and production efficiency.
Save and organize all patterns in NetSuite for future use and easy reference.
Order Management
Compile comprehensive order documentation, including finalized patterns and any necessary notes.
Submit completed orders to the cutting department with clear, detailed instructions to streamline production.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the Sales team and Customer Service Manager to ensure smooth order processing and resolve any order-related issues.
Partner with the cutting department to ensure patterns are executed correctly and efficiently.
Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers to confirm details or clarify requirements.
Quality Assurance
Review all patterns for accuracy, consistency, and quality before submission.
Ensure every cover meets or exceeds customer expectations with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.

Qualifications
Technical Skills
Proficiency in TukaTech software design tools & minimum 5 yrs experience.
Strong knowledge of pattern creation, furniture measurements, and production processes.
Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
Organizational Skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and orders simultaneously.
Strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Problem-Solving
Ability to identify missing details in orders and take proactive steps to address them.

Required Experience
Experience in pattern design, furniture manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience with software such as Adobe & NetSuite is helpful but not required.
Basic Office Software ex: Outlook & Excel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay Hourly: $30
Hours: 40 hours per week
