Job Description

This Product Designer role will support Next Generation Point of Sale (NGPOS) initiative to modernize the checkout experience across our stores, pharmacies, and fuel centers. The candidate will work as part of a Product Design team focused on NGPOS's end-user experience, data platform, and release enablement tool.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting research with NGPOS's wide range of end users (including cashiers, in-store shoppers, service desk representatives, and fuel center attendants) to understand each audience's unique needs and pain points
• Leading and facilitating collaborative workshops with large cross-functional groups, including attendees from Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, and Retail Operations, to solve both experience and technical challenges
• Working closely with multiple development teams to provide upfront design direction, participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure developed solutions align with the overall experience vision
• Building and maintaining UX artifacts such as personas, user journeys, and service blueprints to effectively illustrate the complexity of the point-of-sale ecosystem and its many touchpoints
