An Interior Designer will professionally assist homeowners in designing kitchens and bhs th meet the needs and demands of the homes occupants. They work with the homeowner to design a layout th mches the lifestyle of the homeowners. These designs incorpore important aspects including the overall flow, colors, specific merials and lighting.
Highlights of your role:- Meet with clients and work collaborively to determine the design goals
- Plan the overall appearance and function of kitchen or bh space
- Meet with suppliers and vendors of products including cabinets, flooring, and lighting
- Coordine colors, merials, and lighting for space to achieve design goals
- Work with contractors to oversee installion to achieve clients goals
- Maintain awareness of trends and product development as they rele to interior design
- Design for the whole house, floor plans and exterior finishes
- Ability to use hand tools including tape measure
- Ability to scale real site conditions into drawings
- Ability to utilize CAD to draw projects which will assist clients in conceptualizing the project
- Strong communicion skills both written and verbal in order to communice with client as well as contractors
- Ability to connect with and work collaborively with contractors and receive feedback
- Strong project management skills with the ability to focus on and deliver projects under budget and ahead of schedule
- Ability to envision projects including how color and light balance out in projects
