Interior Designer

An Interior Designer will professionally assist homeowners in designing kitchens and bhs th meet the needs and demands of the homes occupants. They work with the homeowner to design a layout th mches the lifestyle of the homeowners. These designs incorpore important aspects including the overall flow, colors, specific merials and lighting.

• Meet with clients and work collaborively to determine the design goals
• Plan the overall appearance and function of kitchen or bh space
• Meet with suppliers and vendors of products including cabinets, flooring, and lighting
• Coordine colors, merials, and lighting for space to achieve design goals
• Work with contractors to oversee installion to achieve clients goals
• Maintain awareness of trends and product development as they rele to interior design
• Design for the whole house, floor plans and exterior finishes

• Ability to use hand tools including tape measure
• Ability to scale real site conditions into drawings
• Ability to utilize CAD to draw projects which will assist clients in conceptualizing the project
• Strong communicion skills both written and verbal in order to communice with client as well as contractors
• Ability to connect with and work collaborively with contractors and receive feedback
• Strong project management skills with the ability to focus on and deliver projects under budget and ahead of schedule
• Ability to envision projects including how color and light balance out in projects
