- Partner in-person and virtually with the office's Senior leadership to elevate design ideas, values, and standards.
- Participate in marketing and business development, including proposals, interviews, and PR efforts.
- Stay abreast of new design trends and technologies.
- Innovate and solve design challenges creatively.
- Independently act as lead designer for a variety of complex project types simultaneously.
- Manage small to mid-size project teams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on mid- to large-scale projects.
- Lead meetings with clients, including interviews, pitches, real estate tours, visioning, programming, workplace strategy, and detailed design presentations.
- Lead all phases of project delivery from fit planning, conceptual design, design development, coordination, preparation of documents, project site tours, and construction administration, through project completion and post-occupancy studies.
- Work directly with clients, product representatives, furniture dealers, fabricators, multidisciplinary consultants, general contractors, and building/planning agencies.
- Participate in cost estimate review and overall design budget analysis and management.
- Review design and technical drawings of junior designers and provide mentorship.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is a must.
- Strong skills in Office 365, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Mural collaboration platform is a must.
- Minimum 12 years of experience working on interior design and/or architectural projects.
- Advanced understanding of corporate commercial real estate objectives.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design and architectural project delivery.
- Working knowledge of state and local building and fire codes related to interior environments, including accessibility.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Interior Design Certification and/or WELL accreditation strongly preferred.
- Legal working status in the U.S.
- Sustainable design experience, with a preference for hands-on WELL project participation.
- Experience working in a Citrix environment is highly desired.
- Enscape modeling skills are nice to have.
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) skills are highly desired.
- Hand sketching and conceptual drawing skills are a plus.
This is a Permanent position based out of San Francisco, CA.
