Legal Videographer Assistant

  • San Francisco, California
  • Full Time
We are a court reporting firm looking to add a legal videographer to our team.

There are two main parts to this job:
(1) Shooting depositions in the field and remotely.
(2) Doing post-production work on these videos in our office.

As we are a small company, you will be asked to perform many other tasks; please understand that there is no duty-limiting "job description" for this position.
Customer service is an important component to our work as you will occasionally be interacting with our clients.
On field days, there are no set hours and a heavy amount of car travel is necessary to get to our depositions in and out of the Bay Area. Early mornings and/or late nights are sometimes required to get the job done.

You will be trained in our techniques, using our equipment and programs, but you are expected to already have general knowledge in AV equipment and editing. If you are not extremely computer literate and tech-savvy, you will not be a good fit for this job. Attention to detail is a must!

Preference will be given to candidates who live within a 20-minute commute of San Francisco and possess at least a film school education or comparable knowledge.
The right professional candidate is punctual, well-dressed, and above all, a team player.
You must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and no criminal history whatsoever.
Our videographers are required to be Notaries, so bonus points if you already have your Notary.

No resume will be considered without a cover letter and two references.
We are not interested in your video samples.

If you feel you have the qualifications necessary to do a great job, we look forward to hearing from you!
