Graphic Designer - Junior
Location: Framingham, MA (Hybrid - In office days are typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
Duration: 6 months to start with

Role Overview:
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for executing day to day design needs that support the brand's marketing, digital, and in store teams. You’ll spend most of your time creating, resizing, refining, and preparing visual assets that showcase top active and outdoor brands at incredible value.
This role is highly hands on: you’ll work within established brand guidelines, follow creative direction, and ensure every asset is accurate, and on brand.
You’ll collaborate with senior designers and cross functional partners to deliver clean, polished work across digital, print, and social channels.
Key Responsibilities
Produce digital marketing assets — Create and resize graphics for emails, web banners, and paid ads that highlight top active and outdoor brands at incredible value.
Execute in store and print design — Support the development of signage, store visual materials following Sierra brand guidelines.
Prepare production ready files — Ensure all assets are properly formatted, labeled, and delivered accurately for print and digital use.
Follow creative direction — Apply feedback from senior designers and creative leads to refine and finalize assets quickly and cleanly.
Support seasonal campaigns — Build out campaign assets across multiple channels, ensuring cohesive storytelling around active/outdoor gear and value messaging.
Organize and manage assets — Keep files structured, named correctly, and stored in the appropriate shared locations for cross team access.
Assist with photo and product prep — Crop and optimize product images for use across digital and print channels.
Collaborate with cross functional teams — Partner with marketing, merchandising, and e commerce teams to ensure assets meet project needs and deadlines.
Support rapid turnaround requests — Execute quick updates, resizes, and design adjustments in a fast moving retail environment.

Desired Skills and Experience
2-6 years of digital and print design experience
Ability to manage multiple projects with changing demands
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
Ability to design within brand guidelines while adding creative flair.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from feedback.
A portfolio showcasing design work (student or personal projects welcome).
Work in a hybrid schedule - 2 days in office, 3 days remote
