Overview The Associate Graphic Designer supports the development of fresh, trend-relevant graphics for men's and women's apparel across Catalyst Brands' lifestyle labels, including Aeropostale and Lucky Brand. This role collaborates closely with designers, senior designers, and cross-functional partners to create compelling seasonal concepts that reflect brand identity, meet business objectives, and connect with the target customer. Responsibilities Assist in concept development by creating assets, designing layouts, selecting color palettes and typography, and producing digital illustrations. Execute graphic design concepts with increasing independence, while supporting senior designers on larger or more complex projects. Contribute to designing original artwork that aligns with seasonal trends and brand aesthetics. Prepare final production files, build mockups, and develop specifications for apparel applications. Partner with the Design team to ensure cohesive storytelling and alignment across seasonal collections. Research and analyze design, cultural, and social media trends (e.g., TikTok, Instagram) to inform creative direction. Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to deliver graphics that meet both creative standards and business needs. Use digital collaboration tools (e.g., Miro) to brainstorm, present, and iterate on design ideas. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to design guidelines and timelines. Assist in preparing and presenting trend and inspiration boards to communicate seasonal direction. Maintain organized digital libraries, reference materials, and design archives. Adapt approved artwork across various applications and ensure timely completion in accordance with the corporate calendar. Support the preparation of seasonal design presentations and participate when appropriate. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience designing graphics for men's and women's apparel (knits, tees, fleece, denim, polos, etc.). Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Demonstrated ability to create innovative, brand-right graphic concepts and typographic solutions. Strong illustration and sketching skills. Solid understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and design fundamentals. Knowledge of Catalyst Brands' customer demographics and brand positioning. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with digital collaboration tools such as Miro is a plus. Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, creative, and committed to delivering exceptional design work. Ability to maintain regular in-office presence to support team collaboration, while effectively working within the company's hybrid work structure. Pay Range USD $62,700.00 - USD $114,000.00 /Yr.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience designing graphics for men's and women's apparel (knits, tees, fleece, denim, polos, etc.).

Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

Demonstrated ability to create innovative, brand-right graphic concepts and typographic solutions.

Strong illustration and sketching skills.

Solid understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and design fundamentals.

Knowledge of Catalyst Brands customer demographics and brand positioning.

Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with digital collaboration tools such as Miro is a plus.
