WORKING DATES
- Prep: June 27th-June 28th (flexible)
- Pre-Light: June 29, 2026
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: We are a tech brand launching a new YouTube series that playfully explores the age-old question: Should you DIY or call in the pros? In each episode, rotating cast members compete to tackle classic home projectslike painting, wallpapering, or movingputting their skills to the test under the watchful eye of a Pro. The tone is comedic and fast-paced.
ABOUT THE ROLE: We have a Production Designer working remotely (flying in for actual filming dates) and we need a local Art Director to help source and prep our background set THEN deliver and help us set up during pre-light on 6/29. We'd be able to show in more detail before this person commits to the job but essentially it's---
- 4-6 flats painted a solid color.
- A few wooden studs painted an accent color that we'd attach to flats
- Potentially do a pickup run from a prop house. Our producer could do this too.
- Help setup flats and make sure they're secure.
- BONUS: if you have some basic construction chops we're looking to build (2) 6 foot cubes on casters. But we could source that elsewhere too.
For pre-light on 6/29- the art director would deliver the background elements and help our production designer set up on a sound stage in Burbank. We'd be attaching some tools and accents to the background flats. Again happy to show our mock ups in a call before committing to the job.
If this sounds like you give us a shout! We'll start reviewing submissions Tuesday this week.
Really appreciate everyone who takes the time to submit.
