Illustrator Jobs in Ontario
In the commercial art industry, an Illustrator is responsible for creating artwork to articulate concepts and ideas that represent a company's brand, product, or service. They should also have a good understanding of color theory, typography, and composition. Good communication skills are a must as they often work in a team and need to interact with different stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, or a related field is typically required. Many Illustrators also hold certifications from accredited art institutes or software vendors. Prior to becoming an Illustrator, a person might have roles such as a Graphic Designer, Sketch Artist, or Art Assistant to gain relevant experience and skills.
