The Bostonoffice of SmithGroupis looking for aGraphic Designerto join our team.

Working with us you will:
Design and/or produce high level art and copy layouts, presentations, promotional and project materials and brochures to support the goals of internal marketing strategies and/or client projects including report layouts, infographics, award submittals, and project graphics.
Assist in/coordinate implementation of corporate identity.
Coordinate project and other office photography and video production.
Work with cross-collaborative teams; provide art direction and technology guidance.
Maintain knowledge of design trends.
Analyze internal client needs and recommends suitable approaches or options to consider.
Help develop strategy on project-specific marketing activities as well as studio marketing initiatives.
Assist in research of target markets and clients as directed.
Support public relations activities, such as media pitches, special events, etc.
An ideal candidate has:
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1- 3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of MS Outlook and SharePoint programs preferred.
Ability to understand principles of layout and application to marketing materials.
Eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, hierarchy, etc.
Ability to summarize text and craft an effective written message when needed.
Knowledge of the print process, proper file setup for print production and experience working directly with print vendors.
Understanding of video creation and video editing tools, such as Adobe Premier Pro, is a plus.
Knowledge of other presentation technologies is a plus.
