Artist Represenative

I am primarily ( but not exclusively) a pen and ink portrait artist with impressive clients and credentials who's looking for a creative and tenacious sales representative who thinks out of the box and has some familiarity with the "luxury" market which is my target market for expanding my business with more high end private commissions.

My chosen medium is one of the oldest and simplest : INK plus quill pens. What makes them stand out is my non-traditional use of the traditional. My work is an unexpected juxtaposition of fusing classical pen and ink to my own stylized vision of the subject as I see him/her. The result is incisive and revealing and strikingly contemporary.

A few of my portrait clients have included Patrick Stewart, Barbra Streisand, Darren Criss, Jonas Kaufmann, Angela Lansbury and Sir Cameron Mackintosh. Corporate clients include CBS News, CNBC, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Opera, and American Express.

My commissions have been chosen as gifts of appreciation and incentive for many corporate honorees, for event celebrations, and preserving commemorative moments. Most frequently it is the unique item to give the person who's already got everything and requires something truly personal.

Over the past twenty five years I have had the pleasure of contributing regularly to The Wall Street Journal. For the Journal I have drawn everyone from Warren Buffett to Lady Gaga to King Charles .

The person I'm looking for must be an enthusiastic and reassuring sales rep able to persuasively negotiate with potential clients and also envision additional possible placements for my work yet to be explored .
