Art Director Jobs in Palo Alto, CA

An Art Director in the commercial art industry is responsible for the visual style, images, and layouts in magazines, newspapers, product packaging, movie and television productions, and more. They determine how best to represent a concept visually, how to present it uniquely and memorably, and how to shape the overall aesthetic of a project. This role requires the ability to oversee and coordinate work with other artistic staff, review and approve designs, and present designs to clients for approval.

They also need to be proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. A bachelor's degree in an art or design field is often required.
